PBR Reno is scheduled for February 26–27, 2027, at Reno Events Center. Friday's session starts at 8 p.m. Pacific Time; Saturday's starts at 7 p.m. This is a Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event in downtown Reno, not the summer Reno Rodeo. The current official PBR page directs fans to Ticketmaster for presale access, with separate routes for direct and premium ticket inquiries.

Before choosing a seat, settle which night you want, whether a two-day package fits your plans and what the current sale phase requires. Then plan for the downtown venue at 400 University Way. This guide explains those decisions, the competition you will be following and the difference between a close chute view and a wider look across the dirt. Dates and purchase routes were checked on October 15, 2026; seat prices, sale windows and event-day instructions should be confirmed when you book.

PBR Reno 2027 dates, times and the correct venue

The official PBR Reno listing confirms the two February dates at Reno Events Center. Friday, February 26, begins at 8 p.m. PT; Saturday, February 27, begins at 7 p.m. PT. Ticketmaster's venue event list agrees. The one-hour difference is easy to miss if you assume the second night follows the same schedule as the first.

NightDateListed startLocation
FridayFebruary 26, 20278 p.m. PTReno Events Center
SaturdayFebruary 27, 20277 p.m. PTReno Events Center

The venue address is 400 University Way in downtown Reno. Use that address with your ticket when planning the journey. Reno has other event facilities, and searches for bull riding can also return Reno Rodeo information. A parking plan or ticket for the summer rodeo does not apply automatically to this indoor February PBR weekend. Confirm the building name as carefully as the date.

Friday can be a good fit for a local fan who wants to attend after the workday, or a visitor arriving for the full weekend. The later start offers more evening preparation time, but it still requires allowance for travel, food and entry. If your arrival is on Friday, do not arrange a flight or a long drive that leaves no margin before the session. The schedule gives a start time, not a guaranteed finish time or an assurance that every journey will run smoothly.

Saturday's 7 p.m. start moves that preparation an hour earlier. It may suit a party that wants more of its evening available afterward, though the exact end remains dependent on the event. Choose the night your whole group can attend comfortably rather than buying a cheaper offer on an inconvenient date. The number of famous names in a past year's lineup is not a reliable way to choose between the 2027 sessions.

Two nights give you a chance to follow the competition as an event, instead of treating it as a collection of short rides. You can learn who is staying in rhythm, recognize particular bulls and return with a better sense of the standings. One night remains a worthwhile choice if it fits your budget and travel plan better. Our PBR Reno event page keeps this stop distinct from other dates on the calendar.

Getting PBR Reno tickets during the presale

Begin with the current official PBR event page and follow its purchase button. When checked, the presale-access link led to Ticketmaster's Reno Events Center event list. That is the route to use when choosing a 2027 session. An older sign-up link or a forwarded message about early access can be useful for an announcement, but it should not replace the current event's ticket instructions.

Presale access is different from a confirmed seat

Access to a sale is an opportunity to purchase, not an admission ticket. Receiving a code or submitting an interest form does not assign you a section, row or seat. Follow the official offer's requirements, choose the ticket product and complete the order. Then check the confirmation and ticket details for the date, venue, quantity and admission you intended to buy.

The sale label can differ by product. The venue's Ticketmaster list showed presale wording for the individual sessions, while the two-day package page displayed a general sale beginning October 1, 2026. Do not assume one label describes every offer, or that seeing a presale notice means all tickets are unavailable. Open the specific session or package and check the sale window presented there. Inventory can vary within those windows.

If an offer requires a code, use the instructions attached to that legitimate offer. There is no reason to buy a code from an unknown person simply because you want to attend early in the sales cycle. If you do not qualify for a particular presale, check the published next sale phase or inquire through PBR's direct-ticket route. Neither approach guarantees a particular seat, but both keep your decision tied to the real event.

Single-night tickets, two-day packages and total prices

Separate Friday and Saturday tickets let you choose one evening. The two-day package listing covers February 26–27. Its midnight date range describes the package's dates, not a midnight riding session. Check its actual conditions for seat assignment, delivery and any transfer restrictions before buying for people with different plans.

Compare a package with equivalent individual admissions, using the same party size and reasonably similar viewing positions. The package page says displayed prices include fees before applicable taxes, so inspect the final payable total. Then add transport, food and accommodation if required. A lower ticket price does not settle which night is cheaper for your whole trip.

A premium offer should explain precisely what admission and benefits it includes. Confirm whether you are buying a seat, an added experience or both; ask about the arrival time for any pre-show activity. Avoid treating a generic VIP description as a guarantee of a particular 2027 Reno experience. Our PBR ticket guide gives a broader framework for comparing purchase routes without relying on an invented fixed Reno price.

Why Reno's Velocity Tour competition is worth following

Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour is an important route toward PBR's premier Unleash The Beast competition. It gives fans a chance to follow emerging riders alongside experienced competitors trying to advance their position. That competitive purpose makes Reno interesting even if you recognize fewer names than on a UTB broadcast. The ticket is for this tour's actual field, not a promise that every athlete from a national television highlight will appear.

A historical Reno result shows how much can change across two nights. At the February 2026 event, Trace Redd bucked off Smokey Bear in the opening round, then returned with 86.6 points on Night Games and 87.55 on Kung Fu Panda. Those two qualified rides brought him the event victory with a 174.15 aggregate. Macaulie Leather finished second with 172.10. An opening disappointment therefore did not settle the whole weekend.

Use that example to follow the unfolding event rather than assuming its precise format will repeat. The 2027 daysheet and announcements will establish the current riders, bulls and round information. A previous year's field helps you learn about the sport, but it cannot confirm a February 2027 appearance. Our PBR daysheet guide explains the information to look for.

Watch the matchup, not just the rider's name

The eight-second requirement is the first question on any ride. A rider must complete the attempt without a disqualifying free-hand contact to receive a score. The potential 100-point total combines the rider's performance and the bull's, each contributing up to 50 points. A difficult bull gives the rider a different test from a smoother pattern, so two successful rides need not receive similar marks.

Watch the first turn and how the athlete responds when the bull changes its motion. Staying balanced through that transition is more revealing than the rider's fame. Listen to the announcer's explanation, then look at the total awarded after a qualified ride. Once the rider comes off, keep your attention on the safety team's positioning as well. Their work helps make sense of how the athlete leaves the arena while the bull is still moving.

Across a session, compare completed rides, individual round results and the overall event standings. They answer different questions. The biggest score you see may be the highlight of the night, while the strongest aggregate tells a broader story. Checking the completed results afterward helps you connect the moments you remember with the final competition outcome.

Choosing seats at Reno Events Center

Reno Events Center is a flexible indoor venue with retractable seating and different arrangements for concerts and sporting events. That flexibility is useful for hosting PBR, but it means a general venue picture cannot tell you exactly where a 2027 ticket will look across the dirt. Treat the current event map as the purchase reference and the venue's other material as background.

Compare the current PBR map with the view you want

On the Ticketmaster venue page, select the PBR session before using the seating chart. A default map can belong to a different event, and a reference chart does not show which seats remain available. Identify the arena floor and chutes in the actual offer, read any restricted-view wording and check the section, row and seat numbers together. Do not choose from a concert diagram simply because it uses the same building.

The venue brochure shows a concert arrangement. This is another activity's configuration, not a PBR seating map; use the ticket chart for your February 2027 session.

The official venue description's concert capacity is also not a count of tickets available for bull riding. Temporary structures and the sporting layout can change how space is used. A suite or other premium location needs the same event-specific check: ask about the view of the dirt, the included admission and any separate hospitality benefits.

Close detail or an overview of the dirt

A close angle near the chutes emphasizes the athlete's preparation and the opening movement of the ride. It can make the power and timing of the first jump feel immediate. A raised view is more useful when you want to follow the whole route across the arena, including what happens after a buckoff. Neither preference makes every seat in that category equally good.

Consider the line of sight over rails, people and equipment, along with the distance to the action. A very low position can provide detail while limiting your overall perspective. A farther seat with a clear angle may help a newcomer understand the riding more easily. Choose the view you want to spend the evening watching, rather than assuming a higher price answers every viewing question.

Accessibility and comfort before a bargain seat

The official venue information identifies accessible platforms at the bottom of the 100 sections, accessible entrances and elevator access to the second level. Request accessible seating when purchasing; the venue provides 775-335-8815 for Ticketmaster-event accessible-ticket inquiries. Ask about the appropriate route and any companion seating before settling on an offer.

For a mixed-age group, price is only one part of comfort. Think about the walk, stairs, space for breaks and sensitivity to sound. The venue says assisted listening devices can be requested at Guest Services, with an ID held until return. Check your needs and any child-admission conditions for the actual PBR event. Making those arrangements early is more useful than expecting an unsuitable bargain seat to be changed on arrival.

Arriving downtown with tickets and a parking plan

Use Reno Events Center's address, 400 University Way, to plan the final part of your journey. If staying downtown, check the actual walk from your hotel entrance to the arena entrance you will use. A short distance on a map can still involve a route you want to understand before dark. If driving, choose the garage and payment arrangement before you reach the event area.

The official venue FAQ lists National Bowling Stadium parking across the street at $10 per space per day. It says that garage accepts cards and supported mobile payment, rather than cash. Treat this as the current posted arrangement and reconfirm it for your visit. Two-day PBR admission does not imply two days of included parking. The FAQ also identifies nearby casino garages as alternatives; check their current operator rules and space availability before relying on one.

If a driver is dropping you off, choose a meeting point that works for both arrival and departure. Send the venue name and address, and allow time for the walk and entry queue. Do not use a Reno Rodeo parking map or a similarly named event center's directions. When attending both evenings, check that Saturday's earlier start is reflected in your second night's travel plan.

Pack according to the current Reno Events Center bag policy. It allows clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 × 6 × 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small clutch or purse up to 4.5 × 6.5 inches after inspection. Backpacks and duffle bags are prohibited. Medically necessary items have an inspection exception. Review the full venue guidance for other needs and remember that prohibited items cannot be stored on the premises.

For a Ticketmaster Mobile Entry ticket, open the admission in the app or supported wallet before leaving. Ticketmaster's Mobile Entry instructions say screenshots are not accepted and recommend adding tickets to a wallet for access without an internet connection. Follow the delivery method on your particular order; an order confirmation alone should not be assumed to be the scannable admission.

Concession stands at Reno Events Center accept credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay under the posted FAQ. Bring a payment option that works for you even if the phone holding your ticket needs help. Keeping your bag, admission and payment ready lets you spend the final minutes finding your row and following the presentation, rather than troubleshooting something you could have checked at the hotel.

A Reno PBR weekend in late February

A Reno weekend can combine bull riding with other plans, provided the ticket session remains the fixed point. Friday begins at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m., so the second evening needs an earlier return to the venue. Set meal reservations, hotel check-in and any daytime outing around those separate times. A two-night purchase works best when you can enjoy both sessions without turning each arrival into a deadline.

Keep mountain travel and the evening sessions compatible

If you are traveling through the Sierra or adding a Lake Tahoe outing, use current road information close to departure. Caltrans QuickMap provides California road-condition information, including closures and chain controls; Nevada's transportation guidance directs drivers to 511 and NV Roads for Nevada conditions. Those are practical checks for the real journey, not a forecast of what late February 2027 will bring.

Do not schedule a mountain drive using an ideal travel time and assume the riding will wait. Leave margin for changing conditions, traffic and the last part of the downtown journey. If the PBR visit is the main purpose of the trip, staying close to the arena can make the evening simpler. Check the full hotel cost, parking arrangements and walking route before deciding that the lowest room rate is the best deal.

A meal before the session is also easier to arrange than one tied to a guessed event finish. If you want to eat after riding, choose a flexible plan and confirm opening hours for your dates. For a party attending both nights, agree on a return meeting point and where you will keep any luggage or items that do not meet the venue's bag policy. These decisions are more useful when made before everyone heads out for the day.

Following Reno from home and reviewing the results

PBR's current viewing guidance identifies RidePass and the PBR App as routes for Velocity Tour coverage, with free content and an app login requirement. That general guidance does not yet establish the exact February 2027 Reno broadcast window or access in every region. Check the event-specific listing close to the date, including whether the program is live, a replay or highlights. Our TV and streaming schedule helps you find the appropriate viewing window.

If you attend one night and follow the other remotely, keep the tour and dates consistent. A different PBR competition on another channel is not necessarily the remaining Reno session. Afterward, use the results to review the complete outcome alongside the rides you remember. On the event days, today's schedule is useful for orientation. With the right night, admission, view and arrival plan settled, you can give the short and demanding contests on the dirt your full attention.
